Chiang Mai Zoo staff celebrate their 120 day old panda cub, Lin Bing. Congratulations!
Lil' Lin continues to grow and develop. Her last physical at the Chiang Mai Zoo in Thailand, on September 21, 2009, has her weight at 8.960 g (.0196 lbs) and her length at 72 cm (2.36 ft). They say it is getting harder to acquire accurate measurements because she can move around on all fours now. You go girl!

By the way, if you happen to see Lin sleeping in something round up close to the bars, while watching the live webcam, it happens to be a built-in water reservoir for her mom, Lin Hui. It is kept empty now because of the cub, but Lin Bing has apparently discovered it and seems to enjoy sleeping in. That's what being a cub is all about.
Here are the videos of Lin. One is the most recent exam, the second one is a training session and the third video shows them introducing Chuang Chuang, Lin's father to his cub on his 9th birthday. Towards the end of the video with Chuang, you will see the cub in the background to the left. She is in a separate enclosure, next to where Chuang is.
