Okay, I'm going to write my corrections right here above yesterday's post, as well as making some corrections in yesterday's post. Sorry, I just want to be sure to provide the best info. Douglas wrote me back to say he is a panda lover such as myself and put the website Thai-Panda.com up himself. He is not associated with the Chiang Mai Zoo. And the outdoor looking area is actually covered over with a clear dome, so that they can keep the temperature inside at 18 degrees Celsius or 64.4 Fahenheit.
Thanks to Douglas of Thai-Panda.com who mailed me with this new website that brings all of the panda links together onto one page. This includes their live webcam, blog, photos, videos and much more info about Lin Ping and her parents. The link is Thai-Panda.com.
Some of you have written asking about other areas that the pandas at Chiang Mai Zoo have, besides the indoor enclosure that we see in the live webcam most of the time. There is a big covered outdoor area. They rotate at different times and days when Lin Ping will be out there with her keepers and then other times Chuang and Lin Hui.
Thanks to our panda pal Lee Morris of Facebook for the first set of photos that show Chuang Chuang & Lin Hui in this outdoor area before Lin Ping was born. Then the second set that were posted on Thai-Panda.com shows Lin Ping out and about climbing and exploring in the outdoor area.
Thanks to the Chiang Mai zoo and everyone who work hard keeping the Chiang Mai panda information easily accessable on their websites along with regular updates, photos, videos and other information about their panda family, we really appreciate it.
