We had a chance to see sweet Lin Ping celebrate her 16 month birthday yesterday, at the Chiang Mai Zoo and now today Lin's mom, Lin Hui celebrates her birthday.

Lin Hui was born on September 28, 2001 at the Wolong Panda Base which has since been incorporated into the Bifengxia Panda Base due to the earthquake damage at the Wolong base.
She came to the Chiang Mai Zoo with her partner, Chuang Chuang on October 12, 2003. Together they have had one female cub, named Lin Ping who was born on May 27, 2009. Lin Hui has been a great mom, I still remember how attentive she was to her little newborn cubbie, holding her so close to keep her warm.
